Summary:

The Product Specialist will be the on-site expert who educates, demonstrates and advises customers on high technology features, vehicle platforms, options packages and power train choices. The Product Specialist will be a teacher, walking expert and customer experience specialist that turns problems into solutions.

Job Responsibilities:  

  • Greet each customer promptly upon arrival at the dealership
  • Demonstrate features and functionality of on-board systems including radio, comfort and convenience, and safety
  • Sell available subscription services
  • Intervene in any customer dissatisfaction that arise due to technology
  • Participate in the delivery process of new and used vehicles trying to “wow” customers with “how to” information
  • Be the dealership “go to” person for all tech questions as related to the products represented at the dealership
  • Assist in all areas of the dealership including sales floor and the service area

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver’s License, with less than 2 moving violations
  • Must be at least 18 years old.  If you are under 21, you must have no more than 1 moving violation
  • Associates degree or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2 years of Retail/Direct to consumer sales experience
  • Bilingual skills is a preferred
  • Must be able to effectively communicate and demonstrate each feature of the vehicle
  • Must be available to work nights, weekends and/or be on-call
  • Ability to explain technology to individuals who many/may not be technologically inclined
  • Self-Starter with proven ability to seek out new ways to build opportunities for the dealership and customer satisfaction
