Job Description

MileOne Autogroup is now hiring a Procurement Manager for our Corporate office in Towson, MD.

The Procurement Manager will be responsible for developing supply agreements, understanding current supplier and market conditions, track spend and compliance and negotiations with vendors. The Procurement Manager will lead supplier performance to assure optimal TCO (Cost, Quality, Delivery, Innovation) is achieved. This position will primarily manage the process of procurement for all MileOne Autogroup locations as directed by the Chief Administrative Officer.

Essential Functions:

  • Create, develop and implement strategies for competitive costs and superior performance by various vendors and suppliers
  • Provide leadership in areas of negotiations, compliance, and company policies and procedures
  • Conduct ongoing cost analysis
  • Manage new supplier implementations, and manage key supplier performance via ongoing contract management and regular business reviews
  • Conduct periodic supplier audits to ensure compliance
  • Support company improvement initiatives related to external suppliers
  • Collaborate across departments and divisions to meet operational needs and demands
  • Develop communication material for management and the organization overall
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations management, and business management or comparable experience
  • Minimum of 5+ years of related procurement or materials management experience
  • Proven accomplishments in operational cost reductions and process improvements
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables
  • Strong knowledge of performing cost/price analysis
  • Strong knowledge of contract clauses and data management requirements
  • Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required to guide, influence, and negotiate, suppliers, colleagues in other areas/departments and external customers/agencies
