Job Description

MileOne Autogroup is currently hiring a Payroll & Human Resource Analyst for our expanding Human Resources team.

The Payroll& HR Analyst will be involved in HRIS (Workday) solutions; specifically, payroll, workforce management, time & attendance and various HR functions.  The primary purpose of the Payroll & HR Analyst is to ensure quality assurance, and audit functions that are critical to the department to ensure accuracy, reduce errors and eliminate over/under payments to the MileOne employees.

The Payroll & HR Analyst will be involved in all phases of a worker’s employee life cycle.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of bi-weekly and Monthly payroll
  • Analyze, verify and input payroll data during processing including but not limited to hours, compensation, benefit deductions, tax withholding, etc
  • Calculates and processes adjustments to pay (i.e., final pay calculations, retro pay, wage adjustments, commissions, bonuses, etc.)
  • Enter all payroll-related modifications including wage and tax adjustments, and other benefits, 401(k) deductions, garnishments, etc.
  • Audit Workday system reports to ensure errors are identified and reported to appropriate departments in a timely manner.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information. Handle escalations and urgent service requests. This may include General Ledger (GL) discrepancies.
  • Execute standard system reports/queries as well as conduct ad-hoc reporting as necessary. Create complex monthly reports using Workday and Excel to provide payroll data to auditors, vendors, and other support functions.
  • Provide monthly analysis and report on payroll and HR related metrics

 

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of Workday system experience is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; ability to perform pivots, V-lookups and other functions within Excel is required
  • Experience working in a retail organization is preferred
  • 3+ years payroll experience in mid-to-large, multi-US-state company
  • Experience in multiple facets of payroll including commission calculations and review
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proficient in data analysis and managing large volumes of data
  • High level of verbal/written communication, negotiation, problem solving and presentation skills
