Summary:

The General Sales Manager assumes responsibility and is accountable for customer retention and the profitability of the sales department in the dealership on behalf of MileOne. In this competitive business, the Sales Manager will promote and drive results while creating a positive working environment.

Job Responsibilities:  

  • In accordance with company policies the General Sales Manager hires, trains, and motivates all dealership department managers
  • Ensures that sales managers (new and used) understand dealership policies, procedures, and sales systems
  • Holds regularly scheduled Managers meetings to ensure that every department is operating efficiently and profitably
  • Reviews and recommends compensation plans for all employees

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • 10+ years in the Automotive industry with increasing responsibility
  • A great work ethic is an absolute must
  • Must have previous Sales Management experience in a dealership, F&I Manager and/or Used Car Sales Management
  • Must be able to manage a large sales staff with big inventories
  • Must have strong computer skills and knowledge of how the internet is driving our business
  • Needs to maintain a high energy level
  • Must be able to lead by example
