The Chrysler Dodge Jeep Service Manager runs an efficient and profitable Chrysler Dodge Jeep  service department through productive staffing, customer retention, cost controls, achievement of objectives, and maintenance of all service records. In addition, this Chrysler Dodge Jeep Service Manager ensures that the daily inventory of technicians' time is consistently sold to service customers.

Job Responsibilities:  

  • Forecasts goals and objectives for the department and strives to meet them
  • Hires, trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of all service department staff
  • Maintains reporting systems required by general management and the factory
  • Prepares pricing guides and maintenance menus for frequent labor operations

 

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver’s License, with no more than two moving violations
  • Bachelor’s degree from four year college or university and two years of sales management experience, or four years of experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Four to ten years related experience and/or training in automotive service industry
  • Dealership experience preferred
  • Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists; “think on your feet”
  • Provide effective communication throughout the sales department as well as interdepartmentally
  • Self-Starter with proven ability to seek out new ways to build opportunities for the dealership and customer satisfaction
