Job Description

MotorWorld Collision Center is now hiring Body Shop Technicians, Frame Technicians, and experienced painters to work at our I-Car certified locations throughout the Wilkesbarre area.

As a part of our Body Shop team, you will repair vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturer standards. This involves preparing vehicles for body repair work as well as checking parts against estimate and ensuring proper parts are ordered and received.


  • Notifying management of any difficulties or problems that may prevent a quality job from being performed or cause a change in the promised time
  • Maintaining tools and equipment in a proper state of repair
  • Maintaining and wearing all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including respirator, in the manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer
  • Complying with all laws and regulations pertaining to paint, thinners, and other hazardous materials
  • Cooperating with and assisting other personnel in the repair and prepping of vehicles
  • Defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions and solutions

Job Requirements


  • Experience working in a Body shop / Collision Center / Body Repair
  • Driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations
  • Ability to pass our pre-employment screening which includes drug & background check
  • Painters should have knowledge of water-based paint.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
